The purpose of the Foundation for Georgetown University Hospital is to raise philanthropic funds in support of its mission: To provide physical and spiritual comfort to our patients and families in the Jesuit tradition of cura personalis, caring for the whole person.
No matter the size of your contribution, each and every gift to Georgetown University Hospital is appreciated and acknowledged. Charitable gifts made to the Foundation, unless directed towards a particular department, help GUH address its most critical needs. These may be to purchase new medical equipment, upgrade and enhance facilities, or to fund new programs and services that strengthen the well-being of our neighbors. The numerous gifts received each year ensure that Georgetown Hospital is able to continue providing superior clinical care for over 16,000 inpatient and 500,000 outpatient visits seen each year.
