Thanks to a generous donation, the pediatric inpatient units and the PICU at Georgetown University Hospital have now become the first pediatric facilities in the Metro area to offer 38-channel cable TV, a VCR and a DVD player in every patient room.
“This wonderful addition to our already child-friendly atmosphere has been very welcome by the kids and their parents,” says Kathleen Oliver, Director of Child Life at Georgetown. "We are now looking forward to donations of movies on tape and DVD for the families."
