Neuro-Ophthalmology
Offers comprehensive consultation and evaluation and treatment of neurologic disorders affecting vision and eye movements. Common problems treated include multiple sclerosis, optic neuritis, myasthenia gravis, thyroid eye disease, blepharospasm, Bell's palsy, double vision, ischemic optic neuropathy, other optic nerve problems, pupillary abnormalities, unexplained vision loss, visual field defects, optic disc swelling, abnormal eye movements (nystagmus), and intracranial lesions affecting the visual pathway.

Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus
Offering consultation and treatment for pediatric eye conditions including strabismus (misaligned eyes), amblyopia, glaucoma, cataract, and ptosis. Pediatric patients from birth to age 18 years are accepted. Dr. Plotsky also has special interest in the evaluation and surgical treatment of adult strabismus and diplopia (double vision).

Retina Services
Offers consultation, diagnostic evaluation, and treatment of all aspects of diseases of the retina, vitreous and macula. Special interests include: diabetic retinopathy, age related macular degeneration, retinal detachment, retinal vascular diseases, inflammation of the eye, infections of the eye, eye trauma, eye tumors, retinopathy of prematurity. Treatments offered include: laser surgery, vitrectomy surgery, scleral buckle surgery, pneumatic retinopexy, intraocular injections of Lucentis, Avastin, Kenalog or antibiotics.
