Clinical Practice Georgetown's division of General Internal Medicine provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient internal medicine services. The group of nearly 30 physicians and 4 nurse practioners care for diverse patient populations, providing evidence-based and patient-focused care to all. Our electronic medical record has proven to be a powerful tool in helping us to provide this care in a consistent, timely manner. The education of medical students, residents and fellows is an essential mission of the department and several members serve in key faculty and leadership positions at Georgetown University.
Within the GIM division, four physicians specialize in Medicine Pediatrics, providing convenient and comprehensive evaluation and treatment for many pediatric problems including but not limited to asthma, ADD/ADHD, allergies, and developmental delays.
