Bone Densitometry Services
Provides state-of-the-art dual energy X-ray absorptiometry-type bone density testing. Follow-up consultation regarding osteoporosis prevention and treatment strategies is also available.

Genetic Counseling
The genetic counseling service provides consultation to individuals and couples prior to and following prenatal diagnostic procedures as well as for teratogen exposure, family history of genetic disease and familial breast and ovarian cancer.

Gynecologic Oncology Outpatient Services
Care of patients with premalignant or cancerous conditions of the cervix, vagina, and vulva. Evaluation of abnormal gynecologic findings including ovarian masses. Care of the patient with cancer of the ovary, uterus, cervix, vagina, vulva or molar pregnancies/chorio-carcinoma, including outpatient chemotherapy. Evaluation of patients with human papilloma virus infection. Expertise in colposcopy treatment of dysplasia of the cervix, vagina and vulva.

High-Risk Obstetrical Services
The Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine provides comprehensive care of the mother and a second patient, the fetus, in any pregnancy, and especially any pregnancy complicated by maternal or fetal problems. Management of high-risk pregnancies can include preconception counseling, antenatal testing using ultrasound imaging and/or prenatal diagnosis (such as nuchal translucency screening or invasive prenatal testing such as amniocentesis or chronic villus sampling), electronic fetal heart monitoring, and management of delivery and postpartum care. Patients who are candidates for care by Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians are those with maternal complication (e.g., diabetes, renal disease, Rh disease or previous difficult pregnancy). Fetal problems that often require sub-specialty care include premature rupture of the membranes, premature labor and growth, or development problems.

Menopause and Perimenopausal Health
Menopause is a natural stage but can be associated with discomforts and with concerns about cardiovascular disease, bone mineral loss and other disorders. The program in menopause and perimenopausal health uses a comprehensive approach to the evaluation of women over 40 and offers a full range of treatment options and lifestyle measures for optimization of health and comfort.

Operative Endoscopy
Provides expert surgeons with training and interest as well as experience in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures. Care of women with endometriosis, pelvic pain, ovarian cysts, fibroids and uterine anomolies.

Prenatal Diagnostic and Ultrasound Center
Provides obstetrical and gynecological ultrasound. The PDUC focuses on the diagnosis of fetal disorders using ultrasound, electronic fetal heart monitors, chorionic villus sampling and amniocentesis. First trimester testing (for example, nuchal translucency screening) and genetic counseling are available.

Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Services
Gynecologic endocrinology services include: evaluation and treatment of menstrual disorders (such as amenorrhea, oligomenorrhea and dysmenorrhea); inappropriate lactation; precocious and delayed puberty; hirsutism; and premenstrual syndrome. Infertility evaluation and diagnostic procedures are available.
