Tiffany Townsend, Ph.D., was recently honored by the Association of Black Psychologists at their 2006 Conference for five years of service on the editorial board for the Journal of Black Psychology. Dr. Townsend joined the Department in July 2006 and is the PI on a SAMHSA funded grant, "A Cultural-based HIV/Substance Abuse Prevention Program for African American Girls." She has over six publications, two currently under review and several manuscripts in progress.
