Women’s Health magazine named two Georgetown University Hospital physicians as “Top Docs” in a recent issue.
Claudine Isaacs, MD, director of the clinical breast cancer program at Georgetown’s Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Helain Landy, MD, chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, received recognition as being among five top physicians in their specialties for the northeast region of the country.
“We are thrilled but not surprised that another publication has chosen to honor Georgetown physicians who are at the top of their specialties,” said Joy Drass, MD, president. “Dr. Isaacs and Dr. Landy work daily to offer health care that meets the Hospital’s mission of cura personalis—care of the whole person.”
Dr. Isaacs is a medical oncologist who specializes in the treatment of breast cancer. In addition, she has expertise in the medical management of indi-viduals at genetically increased risk of cancer and serves as the co-director of Fisher Center for Familial Cancer Research. Dr. Landy’s expertise is in high-risk pregnancy, recurrent miscar-riage, multiple gestation and diabetes in pregnancy.

Women’s Health magazine “was created for the woman who sees being healthy—physically and emotionally— as her edge.” The magazine reaches more than 1 million women each month.
