High-Risk Pregnancy

If your pregnancy is considered high-risk, we have Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists, who work with your primary obstetrician to provide comprehensive care for you and your baby.

We are the only hospital in the mid-Atlantic region to be a member of OTIS, the Organization of Teratology Information Specialists. Even before pregnancy, women can come to us to find out the effect of potential exposure of medications on the fetus.

In very high-risk pregnancies, MFM physicians may provide ongoing pregnancy management.

We have specialists in every area, and no matter what doctor you need to see, all of our physicians are right here, under one roof. Our specialists are all part of the same department, ensuring smooth communication and quick scheduling.
