Pediatric HIV Clinic
The Pediatric HIV Clinic follows HIV-infected children and their mothers. For those who get their care at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, visits are coordinated for the mother and baby to lessen the number of trips to the hospital. One of the three attending physicians from the division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases see and examine the children personally. The Clinic offers a family-based approach and support for families through the ups and downs of medical and social concerns.
