Pediatric Procedural Sedation Service

The Pediatric Sedation Program at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital provides sedation for any medical procedure or test that can cause children pain or anxiety. In a family-friendly environment, parents may stay with their children until they are fully sedated, and they are can return to the procedure room before their child awakes. Same-day appointments are available.
