Cardiac Stepdown/Telemetry Fellowship

The cardiac stepdown/telemetry fellowship has been designed and developed in collaboration with the medical/surgical fellowship. Participants in this program will be assigned to a preceptor who will work directly with them during their orientation. Applicants will also attend a basic EKG/Dysrhythmia class. Once orientation is complete, cardiac stepdown/telemetry fellows will continue to be mentored by an experienced staff member.

The cardiac stepdown/telemetry unit offers a broad scope of clinical experiences. Fellows would work in conjunction with our multidisciplinary team to manage patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiology procedures and complex medical/surgical patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to further their career goals by attending ongoing educational programs.
